WELCOME TO OUR FOUNDATION

Launched on 14 December 2012, the primary objective of The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation is to save lives by putting an end to drowning.

Our mission is to raise public awareness about the dangers of water, teach children preventive measures, and teach them to swim.

Saving and transforming young lives from all backgrounds through the power of education and sport is the task the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation has undertaken.

Princess Charlene created the Foundation with the vision of ending death and disability caused by drowning. Since its launch, the Foundation has touched thousands of people in diverse countries across Africa, Asia and Europe, not only by promoting water safety but also by creating a platform that uplifts children through the positive values of sport.

Thankfully, we are not alone. Our Foundation receives support from our multiple ambassadors, partner NPOs, and incredible people like you who give their time and donations to ensure a better, brighter future for our youth.

“My Foundation is about children who can become great adults, if we collectively show them the way forward with strong sport values and solidarity.”

WHAT'S ON OUR AGENDA

#ChasingZero

Princess Charlene wants to do all she can to protect the rhinos and other endangered species, including raising funds to protect them and educate our children about wildlife conservation and preservation. With your help, we will spread the #chasingzero and #rhinohornnotcool messages everywhere!

#Feed2gether

Children need a balanced, healthy diet to support their bodies and brains. Proper nutrition helps them grow, become stronger, learn, remember, and concentrate so that they can perform better in all areas of life.

Therefore, the Foundation has joined hands with the Louis Oosthuizen Foundation57’s iPapa57 Feeding the Children programme to raise funds to produce specially formulated maize products for children between the ages of 3 and 5.

#Educate2Gether

After the great success of the 2020 #strongtogether campaign, the Foundation is proud to announce their theme for 2021 – #educate2gether.

The theme aligns perfectly with our ambitious vision for the year ahead, as we have appointed a new board of directors and official ambassadors for 2021, namely Terence Parkin and Percy Montgomery. Unlike prior years, #educate2gether will run for the entire year with different initiatives under the same theme.
