The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation South Africa is thrilled to congratulate our esteemed ambassador, Aldrich Potgieter, on his remarkable achievement of securing his US PGA Tour card. This is a tremendous milestone in Aldrich’s career, a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and extraordinary talent.
Aldrich, a proud South African golfer, turned professional just a year ago but has quickly become an inspirational figure for young athletes. His passion for sportsmanship and discipline aligns with the Foundation’s mission to promote education through sports and ensure the safety of young people around water environments.

Following his final-round 69 at the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance, Aldrich Potgieter reflected on clinching his PGA TOUR card in a heartfelt interview. Aldrich shared. “That first Tee shot was pretty daunting knowing that I had to go and play really good from yesterday’s result but I saw the leaderboard and a couple of guys early on dropped back so I just knew that I had to make a couple of birdies. I did that so that took a lot of the pressure away.”
In addition to his golfing achievements, Aldrich has been an active ambassador for the PCMFSA, participating in numerous water safety initiatives and youth development programs. His success will undoubtedly serve as motivation for many aspiring athletes and the youth that the Foundation supports.
